Early Georg Jensen Denmark Sterling Silver Harebell Flower Pin GI 141
Fabulous vintage open oval sterling silver pin from Scandinavian designer Georg Jensen, with a pair of harebell flowers cradling a lone raised bud or berry-like bead at each side.
The harebell is a perennial wildflower found in various regions, including Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden of northern Europe, and is part of the bellflower family, also called bluebell.
Pin is in excellent condition with a warm, aged sterling patina and no damage or wear. Safety catch works as it should. Pin measures 43mm long and 18mm wide (approx. 1-11/16" long, 11/16" wide), and weighs 4 grams.
Hallmarked with the full set of Georg Jensen Danish marks, including the oval Georg Jensen logo, STERLING DENMARK, the earlier 1930s mark of GI surrounded by a circle of dots, 925 sterling indicator, and design number 141.
